Infinite time loops, never-ending bus rides, checkpoints and remote hotels, lonely shared rooms, yellow-grey Middle Eastern rusticity, dodgy bars. In the short stories of Syrian journalist and author Rasha Abbas, images of places in her old and new homeland. It is about the incompleteness of experiences of crisis, about a constant unease and the deceptive normality of a life in war - but also about dream landscapes, phantasties, about old and new memories. The ensemble and director Sebastian Nübling, together with artists from the fields of media art, architecture and electronic music, are developing their very own »summary of everything that was«.
