Recent developments have shown that hard-won progress can be taken away any time and that the rise of far right and current crisis affect queer people’s lived realities as well, and in particular. That’s why Queer Week 2024 presents itself with artistic prespectives in performance, exhibition, music, reading and film. The programme delves into the loss and mourning of queer bodies, highlighting critical art in times of war and state oppression, pointing out the pressure from families and society, as well as inner conflicts, and at the same time exploring the possibilites for solidarity within the queer community.
