The curtain opens for eight extraordinary solo performances in our Queer Cabaret at Gorki’s intimate Lichtsaal Like in a hidden Salon des Bohèmiens from the 1920, eight transnational, post-identical Old- and New-Berliners create two evening programs that overload the audience in small doses. Drag crossovers meets ritualistic cabaret, unternational live philosophy meets lesbian stand-up and gay chansons. The gathered exiles raise the question on what comes after the arrival. Together, they span a wide range from Spinoza to Ariana Grande: thank u, next!
