Gergana Dimitrova

Gergana Dimitrova is founder, artistic director and project manager of the theater company »36 Monkeys« since 2007. Co-founder and member of the board of Association for Independent Theater Bulgaria (ACT), which organizes since 2010 the ACT-Festival for Independent Theater. Works in the field of new theatrical forms, experimental performing arts, new European drama and cultural policy. Director of 22 theatre performances in Bulgaria, Germany, USA. Author and co-author of 5 theater plays, 3 theatre adaptations, several articles about theater and dramaturgy.

At the Maxim-Gorki Theater Dimitrova directed the play Where is my house, Where is my home for the history festival War or Peace.
