Born 1977 in Brno. Studied art history, philosophy and cultural studies in Berlin, Buenos Aires and Mexico City. Has worked as a set designer since 2003 at venues including Oper Dortmund, Columbia University in New York, and Staatstheater Stuttgart, as well as with independent group lunatiks produktion beginning in 2006. Began working as a dramaturg in 2009 at Schauspiel Hannover, where he developed i.a. the five-year project Die Welt ohne uns (The World Without Us) and a “Doppelpass” cooperation project with independent group Das Helmi, and at the Hebbel am Ufer, where his latest projects with Stefan Kaegi were Bodenprobe Kasachstan (Soil Sample Kazakhstan) and Remote X. Invited with this work to the Festival d'Avignon and the Bienale di Venezia, among others. Dramaturg at the Gorki Theatre Berlin since the 2014/15 season.
