In his novel P/F, Aram Pachyan seeks a lyrical confrontation with the ghosts of history which still haunt the present. In an Armenia marked by wars and conflicts, the protagonist strives for inner peace and asks what remains when the worst is over. In an anecdotal manner, with both precise observations of everyday life and his head in the clouds, he tries to sort out the chaos of both his own and the collective memory. Literary critic Tigran Amiryan talks to author Necati Öziri about Pachyan's work and how writing serves as a way of enduring the world.
