Yeşim Özsoy

Yeşim Özsoy is author, director and founder of the Istanbul theatre GalataPerform, where she started the new plays project New Theatre New Text, among others. She studied sociology as well as performance studies in Chicago. In Istanbul, she founded the VeDST theatre company, with which she has successfully created numerous projects. In her project Love & Fascism she worked with texts by Helena Tornero, Linda McLean et al. Her current project Our Child was co-produced with the International Istanbul Theatre Festival in 2016.

The play House of Hundred – Yüz Yılın Evi which was directed by her took part in the War or Peace Festival at the Maxim-Gorki Theater in 2018.
