Jayrôme C. Robinet

Jayrôme Robinet is a graduate translator at the E.I.I. of the University of Mons and M.A. in Biographical and Creative Writing from the Alice Salomon Hochschule Berlin. He has published two volumes of short stories in France. In 2015, his German-language debut Das Licht ist weder gerecht noch ungerecht was published and premiered as a one-person play at the Maxim Gorki Theater. In 2019, Hanser Berlin Verlag published his autofictional memoir Mein Weg von einer weißen Frau zu einem jungen Mann mit Migrationshintergrund. He is researching queer performance poetry at the DFG Research Training Group »The Knowledge of the Arts« at the UdK Berlin.
