Itamar Doari

Itamar Doari is an international percussion artist who studies the traditional art of rhythm and drumming. He plays a big variety of instruments including Dabuka, Dohola, Bandir and Tar. Alongside the jazz artist Avishai Cohen Doari recorded three albums as a musician as well as a producer and presented them in concerts. 2011 Doari became one the founding members of the band Yemen Blues. The band collects musically influences from Yemen to West Africa inflected with contemporary grooves of funk.
Doari has recorded with record labels such as Universal, EMI, Deutsche Grammophone, Sony or Helicon.
