Isabell Reisinger was born in 1990 in Berlin. Immediately after her A-levels, she began working as an intern for various film productions from, among others, the ARD. In 2011 she worked as an independent costume assistant at the Deutsches Theater, at the Berliner Ensemble and created costume designs for short films from the HFF Munich and Mikrokosmonauten (director: Bastian Kabuth). From 2012 to 2014 she worked as a costume assistant at the Burgtheater in Vienna. In the 2014/15 season she continued to work independently at the Burgtheater in Vienna and at the Berliner Ensemble for Woyzeck (director: Leander Haußmann; costumes: Janina Brinkmann), among others. In 2015 she developed the costumes for Überwintern (Hibernation) at the Theater Oberhausen under the direction of Bastian Kabuth. She has been a costume assistant at the Maxim Gorki Theatre since 2016, where she designed the costumes for her first production: Flucht die mich bedingt (Flight that determines me).
