RESISTING RADIO

Inspired by the experience of the shortwave radio broadcasts in Gezi Park during the protests in 2013, RESISTING RADIO reflects on radio’s potential as an alternative medium for communication – especially in extreme conditions such as power outages and governmental restrictions of social media. In addition to a series of archived interviews, presented as a sound installation, conversations will be held with experts on the themes of, for example, Kurdish resistance, ecology and trans activism, and broadcast on a digital radio platform.
