Grada Kilomba opens the new season of the Kosmos² series with a preview of her latest work, The Desire Project. In this three-act video installation, she explores the trajectory of silenced narratives. Presented for the very first time at the São Paulo Biennial a week ago, this project was considered one of the strongest artworks displayed at this year’s exhibition.

In an open talkback with Diana McCarty from artists’ radio Reboot.fm, she then examines the importance of subverting content and undoing (artistic) standard practices.

Thanks to the São Paulo Art Biennial where Grada Kilomba presented this project in full length.
