In times of migration and crisis, queer folx and artists have to constantly deal with issues of exile and estrangement. As a result of this experience, queerness and exile intertwine and form a duality of exile in queerness and queerness in exile. Methods of self-discovery and artistic strategies are essential to this duality and pave the way for artists and performers to understand their biographies and bodies as a method to process exile and a strategy to shape art. A conversation about exile, body politics and queer artistic strategies.
