Udi Aloni is an israeli filmmaker, artist and writer whose works frequently explore the interrelations between art, theory and activism. His book What Does a Jew Want: On Binationalism and Other Spectres is a theological-political compilation. Aloni was the head of the cinema department at the Freedom Theater of Jenin Refugee Camp. His film Junction 48 won the Audience Award at the Berlinale 2016. He is on the advisory board of the american organisation Jewish Voice for Peace. He lives between Tel Aviv, Berlin and New York.
