Tülin Duman, born in 1978, is a queer and human rights activist who has been involved in various projects against sexism, homophobia, transphobia and racism for many years. Since 2010, as co-owner of Südblock, she has organised discussion events, concerts and queer feminist party series. In her work she puts a special focus on racism and sexism within the queer scenes. Duman played a significant role in the organisation of several editions of the Kreuzberger (Transgenialer) CSD. From 2008 to 2011, Duman was the managing director of GLADT e.V. (Berlin), an association founded by lesbians, gays and trans* persons of predominantly turkish origin.
