Murat Başol (*1973, Istanbul) worked as a cartoonist for popular Turkish satire magazines such as Çarşaf, Avni and Dıgıl. After producing animations and films in the advertising industry, he founded his own production studio. For a while, he drew courtroom drawings on socially controversial cases on a voluntary basis. His fields of interest are editorial illustration, cartoons, sketchbooks and street art.
