Marina Naprushkina was born in Minsk in 1981 and studied fine arts in Minsk, Karlsruhe and Frankfurt am Main. Her works have been exhibited at the 7th Berlin Biennale (2012), Zachęta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (2014), NBK, Berlin (2014) and School of Kyiv (2015), among others. Her book Neue Heimat?: Wie Flüchtlinge uns zu besseren Menschen machen, (A New Home? How Refugees Make Us Better Neighbours) was published in 2015 and garnered her an invitation to the 2nd Berliner Herbstsalon at the Gorki. She is a co-author of Belarus! Das weibliche Gesicht der Revolution (Belarus! The Revolution’s Female Face).
