Born 1991 in Cologne, Jonas Grundner-Culemann completed his acting studies at Munich's Otto-Falckenberg-Schule from 2011-2015. Even while he was still a student, he was already working together with Christoph Homberger, Dimiter Gotscheff, Herbert Fritsch and Ersan Mondtag. Grundner-Culemann has had a close collaboration with the latter ever since his time as a student, which has led to projects such as Tyrannis at the Staatstheater Kassel, Die Vernichtung at Konzert Theater Bern/Schauspiel Köln, Das Erbe at Münchner Kammerspielen as well as Wonderland Ave. at Schauspiel Köln. Now their collaboration on Salome has brought him to the Maxim Gorki Theatre for the first time. Grundner-Culemann is a Berlin-based freelancer.
