Jo Flueler

Jo(achim) Flueler (Aktomis) is a composer, cellist and producer, born in Heidelberg in 1990. He studied cello at the Zurich University of the Arts. After his cello degree he also completed a master’s in composition for film, theatre and media in Zurich. He works as a cellist, composer and producer, collaborating with artists such as Faber, Yumi Ito, Panda Lux and Niki Reiser. As a composer for music in the theatre, he has worked at renowned theatres in the German-speaking world such as the Theater Bremen, Maxim Gorki Theatre, Burgtheater Wien, Theater Hannover and Theater Luzern, among others. In 2018 he began to collaborate more and more frequently with Moritz Widrig (aka Mungg), his partner in the Aktomungg duo.
