Ivna Žic, born in 1986 in Zagreb, grew up in Zurich. She studied Applied Theater Studies in Gießen, Drama directing in Hamburg, as well as Scenic Writing at uniT Graz. She works as a freelance director and author at the Lucerne Theater, Schauspielhaus Wien, Schauspiel Essen, Theaterhaus Gessnerallee, Theater Winkelwiese and Roxy Birsfelden. Theater and translation projects together with Versatorium - Verein für Gedichte und Übersetzung. Various prizes and scholarships: Author Competition Konstanz and St. Gallen (2011), Munich Prize for German Drama (2011), Scholarship at the Literary Colloquium Berlin (2012/2013), Dramatist Scholarship of the Federal Chancellery (2015).
