A solidarity event with texts by playwrights from the Kyiv Theatre of Playwrights
At the initiative of playwright Anastasiia Kosodiі, who participated in the Krieg im Frieden (War in Peace) international playwrights’ lab at the Gorki in 2017/18, Ukrainian and German actors read from powerful texts, reports, war protocols and journals, which recount impressions of life during the Russian invasion: survival tactics, contested cities, escape routes and the consequences of the destruction. They testify to a world which is worsening with every single day of war and to a war with far-reaching global effects.
