Nine years ago on 4 November 2011, the NSU murder series became known. In the panel discussion of the Migration Council Berlin and the Berlin Alliance against Racism, links between the NSU complex and the anti-Semitic and racist attack in Halle in 2019 will be discussed. Onur Özata, lawyer for the NSU trial and the current trial on the attack in Halle, and Esther Dischereit, who as a trial observer focuses on the needs and interests of the Jewish victims, will talk to two affected persons from Halle and two associated with the NSU victims. What are the similarities and differences between the NSU and Halle trials? How can the solidarity of different groups of affected people and their communities be strengthened - and what do we as a society learn from this?
