A discussion with filmmaker Anocha Suwichakornpong, followed by a screening of Mundane History (2009), her first feature film. A mute paraplegic son receives his caretaker. The silent visits give birth to a slow-growing intimacy. In a parallel, cosmic dimension, a star dies. Mundane History won numerous awards including the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
