The Rise of Glory

100 years after the beginning of World War I, it's not difficult to be a pilot in WWI. All you need is a smartphone and €2.65 for the app game The Rise of Glory, one of countless variations that make world war into an interactive adventure. The German-French director Mikaël Serre explores the connection between computer game aesthetics and the real story of his family in this biographical lecture performance.
