The Latina Grandmas' Oracle

The Latina Grandmas' Oracle invites visitors to consult an oracle with Nirlyn Seijas. The oracle was created by Seijas herself and visual artist Sheyla Santana in order to honor Latin American female performance artists who worked between 1968 and 1995. This oracle is a net of readings, reinterpretations, experiences, and memories that the artist and curator want to share with those who will consult it. Like all oracles, it can be used as a creative and personal guide that activates other forms of knowledge within us. On Sunday April 17th, we will gather to learn from artists like Ana Medieta or Lotty Rosenfeld, and to continue their legacies.
