Screening: Grundgesetz

Ein chorischer Stresstest

In the production Grundgesetz a 50-member choir of professional and amateur performers chants the articles of a text whose utopian content is unbroken: »Human dignity is inviolable«.

For the 75th anniversary of the Basic Law going into effect, we will show the performance on the monitors in front of the Gorki and in a large format screening on the Gorki’s façade. In addition, former Federal Constitutional Court judge Susanne Baer, journalist Can Dündar and Marta Górnicka, among others, discuss our constitution’s current relevance, potential improvements and threats, with regard to the situations in Poland and Turkey as well.
