Reporter ohne Grenzen I Ukraine: Pressefreiheit im Krieg
The Ukrainian photographer Evgeniy Maloletka was one of the last reporters for international media outlets to leave the occupied city of Mariupol in the middle of March 2022. The journalist Moritz Gathmann has been reporting for many years from Ukraine and Russia. On the occasion of Reporters without Borders’ Fotos für die Pressefreiheit 2023 book release on May 3rd, which includes photos by Evgeniy Maloletka, Gemma Pörzgen discusses the freedom of the press during wartime with both journalists.
