Bosnia, July 1995: Aida (Jasna Ðuriči) is a translator for the UN troops stationed in the small town of Srebrenica. When Serb militias take control of the town, her family is among the thousands of people seeking refuge in the UN camp. As an interpreter in the negotiations, Aida has access to crucial information. She tries to separate lies from truths to find out how she can save her family and fellow citizens.
