Access to Gorki KIOSK can only be granted with face covering mouth and nose. Please bring your mask.
The box office in the Kiosk will be open Mon-Sat from 12 noon–6:30pm, Sun/Holidays from 4–6:30pm.
With the GORKI KIOSK, questions of solidarity, belonging and participation, as well as art, intervention and activism – as highlighted the Berliner Herbstsalon – will have their own space. It’s a place where new ideas can be tested and vetted through debates, where convictions solidified into works can be presented.
This new multifunctional venue, connected directly to the Gorki’s premises, presents possibilities for diverse artistic ideas that complement and expand the stage programme. Located between historical and contemporary official buildings of cultural heritage, GORKI KIOSK is a diverse, interdisciplinary, trans-local counterpoint that is the GORKI's reaction to the pandemic, opposing confinement and isolation with the opening of a new location. Surprising, radical, strange artistic forms and positions are the subject of investigation here, in international dialogue. Inspired by Herwarth Walden's first Herbstsalon, it is a »window to the world«.
In addition to a presentation from associated artists, the planned programme includes temporary exhibitions, performances, encounters and discussions from artists and friends of the Gorki.
