For the congress' last panel, the main question is what actually constitutes a "Jewish" community. What and who are behind the "we" that was affirmed at the opening? Is this "we" not always a plural of voices, lifestyles, desires and beliefs? What is the function of this "we" then, anyway? Could its assertion nevertheless play an important role in revealing the desire of the German other that determines the construction of the "Jews" in public memory theatre?
