Why is it that debates about diversity in arts and culture begin so frequently at minus 100? How can we create space for empowering perspectives instead? Decolonized Glamour Talks is the pilot series for a new performative talk show from actor Lara-Sophie Milagro in cooperation with Missy Magazine and nachtkritik.de. We’re introducing and celebrating the new format with a launch event before the first episode is broadcast. In twelve talks, Lara-Sophie Milagro speaks with twelve artists with a wide variety of fore- and backgrounds about their work, wishes, and visions for the future, dreams and nightmares with regard to contemporary (German) arts and culture, about new ways of working, the independent scene and the mainstream – empowering statements of position from an arts and culture scene experiencing radical change. Following the launch, episodes will be released weekly on the online channels from Missy Magazine and nachtkritik.de, as well as on YouTube.
