ZELAL YEŞİLYURT

Zelal Yeşilyurt, born 2000 in Berlin, is a (theater) director, playwright and author. She studied Applied Theater Science in Gießen and Playwriting at the University of the Arts Berlin. 
She gained her first theater and directing experience at the Volksbühne's youth club, P14, and in cooperation with the performance collective She She Pop, with whom she still works today.
Her debut novel Molotov Cocktail Dress is being published in autumn 2024 by Korbinian Verlag. I’M A GIRL YOU CAN HOLD IRL is her first production at Gorki. In season 2024/25, the production of Cyberangel will follow, in which she herself takes on the role of the performer.
