Yervant Bostanci

Udi Yervant (Turkish: Udi Bostancı) is an Armenian oud player, who was born in Diyarbekir
and then lived in the United States (Los Angeles) until he was 55. He initially emigrated to Istanbul in 1976, where he taught oud at the Üsküdar musiki Cemiyeti (Üsküdar Music Academy) until 1992. At the invitation of Diyarbekir's department of culture under Seymus Diken, he recently returned to his homeland. He sings Armenian, Kurdish, Turkish songs.
