Yanina Cerón was born on 24.12.1994 and raised in Berlin. She garnered her first performance experience at the junges DT, before working with the youth theatre group at the Maxim Gorki Theatre, where she collaborated with Theresa Henning and Isabella Sedlak. She was a guest performer in Ersan Mondtag’s production of Baal at the Berliner Ensemble. In 2021 she completed her acting degree at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. She has been part of the Gorki ensemble since the 2021/2022 season, where she has worked with the directors Isabella Sedlak, Lola Arias, Oliver Frljić and Christian Weise. She can be seen in ES SAGT MIR NICHTS, DAS SOGENANNTE DRAUSSEN (REMAKE) directed by Sebastian Nübling, which was chosen by Theater heute as the play of the year in 2014. In the 2023/24 season, she will be on stage in Im Menschen muss alles herrlich sein, directed by Sebastian Nübling and Die Optimistinnen, directed by Emel Aydoğdu.
