Violetta Fitsner

Violetta Fitsner is a human rights lawyer and head of advocacy team of the Russian human rights project OVD-Info, which monitors cases of political persecution and violation of freedom of assembly and association and anti-war prosecutions. Violetta also specializes in strategic litigation. From August 2020 to December 2021, Violetta worked as a lawyer in the Russian non-profit organization Institute for law and public policy focusing on strategic litigation, particularly, in preparing the applications to the Russian Constitutional Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
