Tobias Schwencke, composer and pianist, was born in Berlin in 1974 and grew up in Duisburg. He studied composition, piano and accompaniment in Duisburg, Saarbrücken and Berlin. In addition to his work in the field of experimental music, he has developed stage music for the Ballhaus Naunynstraße, the Berliner Ensemble and the Gorki, among others.
