Tara Al-Dughaither

Tara Al-Dughaither is an artist and curator exploring the social and cultural performance of herself as well as women in the contemporary Arab Peninsula. She draws her practice from the study of undocumented histories and informal, private settings. Theoretically inspired by the study of Afro Futurism, Gulf Futurism and the framework of agency in Arabic poetics and performance, she attempts to create safe spaces of resistance and agency.
