Stefanie Lohaus, born in 1978, is co-founder and co-editor of Missy Magazine.
Born and raised in a light-grey small town in the northern Ruhr area, she moved to picturesque Lüneburg after graduating from secondary school. There she began studying applied cultural studies at the University of Lüneburg, receiving her degree in 2006. She also writes as a freelance author for Zeit magazine's blog 10nach8, among others, and lectures on equal partnership, feminism, pop culture and femonationalism, moderates and appears as a guest in discussions. Together with her partner Tobias Scholz, she wrote a book, Papa kann auch stillen (»Papa can also breastfeed«), about an equitable division of labour according to the 50/50 principle. It was released in early 2015.
