Simon Brusis was born in Munich in 1978 and studied acting at the Academy for Music and Theatre Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig. He was an ensemble member at the State Theatre Meiningen and then made guest appearances at the Thalia Theater Hamburg and at the Maxim Gorki Theater. During the 2008/09 season he was a company member at the Magdeburg Theatre and from 2009 to 2011 at the Hans Otto Theatre in Potsdam. Since then, Simon Brusis has been a freelance actor and has appeared as a guest at the Deutsches Theater Berlin, at Ballhaus Naunynstraße and at the Anhaltisches Theater in Dessau. At the Bonn Theatre he performed in Ein Volksfeind as well as in Die Ratten andDie Räuber. In his spare time, Simon Brusis is a beekeeper and spends time at a car repair workshop in Bavaria.
