Silvia Petrova

Silvia Petrova studied media studies in Bonn as well as sociology, theatre, film and TV studies in Cologne. She worked as an assistant director and assistant dramaturge at different state theatres and independent productions in cities like Cologne, Osnabrück, Bonn and Hanover. Additionally, she was a directing assistant in the radioplay and feature department at WDR broadcasting, Cologne. As a production manager she worked with the performance collective SIGNA at Volksbühne Berlin and Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. Moreover, Silvia Petrova has been professionally involved with intercultural exchange prorgams between Germany and Bulgaria. She is one of the co-founders and curators of the Summer Academy for Dramatic Writing in Gabrovtsi, Bulgaria. Currently, she is the production manager of Studio Я at Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin.
