Serkan Öz

Serkan Oz, born in 1982 in Bursa / Turkey, studied theater at the Mimar Sinan University in Istanbul. He went to Dortmund for one year to work with homeless people. In 2007, back in Istanbul, he founded the GAF Theater, where he staged in cooperation with a Bulgarian off-theater Julie (Strindberg). From 2010-2015 he was engaged at the Bakırköy Theater in Istanbul as an actor with Fat Pig, Külhan Beyi Müzikali on stage. In 2012, he expanded the GAF into an art community in cooperation with Slovenian artists, funded by the EU. Since August 2015 he works and lives in Berlin. At the beginning of 2016, he performed at the Studio Я of the Maxim Gorky Theater. Directed as part of the New Year's Happening. Theater ist endlich íst Theater.
