Romy Kiessling lives and works as an artist and scenographer in Berlin. She studied at the AdbK in Munich and at the art school Berlin-Weissensee. As a scenographer she worked together with Daniel Cremer, Gob Squad, Heidy Collective, Helene Hegemann, Anna Till and Elsa Vortisch. She already published several artzines in Berlin with publishers such as Gloria Glitzer. Next to that she organizes interdisciplinary workshops with youngsters, which was recently funded by the Berlin Projects Funds for Cultural Education. She received already several scholarships for artist residencies and in the summer of 2015 she was invited as an artist by Micro-Phoni for a residency in Batumi, Georgia. In spring of 2016 she will work as a scenographer for the performance War and Piece (around a kitchen table) of the artist collective Gob Squad.
