Sarah Fartuun Heinze was born in 1989 in Marka (Somalia), is a Swabian living in Cottbus and works as a multidisciplinary freelance artist and cultural educator at the intersection of theatre, games, music and empowerment. She sees herself as an aesthetic researcher, is part of the Creative Gaming initiative and, as a freelance journalist, part of Neuen Deutschen Medienmacher*Innen: She writes for DLF, nd, nachtkritik, Superlevel and analyse&kritik, among others. She is co-author of Kultur und Politik im prekären Leben.. Solidarität unter Schneeflocken (Timo Klattenhoff / Johanna Montanari / Viola Nordsieck (eds.), published in 2020 by Neofelis-Verlag.) and Schwarz wird großgeschrieben (Edited by Evein Obulor in cooperation with RosaMag, published in September ’21 by &Töchter - Verlag) She has worked on HIDDEN CODES on behalf of the Bildungsstätte Anne Frank, as author and dramaturg with Playing History: A Serious Games - Series, which is dedicated to the topic of radicalisation on the net in several episodes (nominated for the German Computer Games Award in the category Serious Games).
