Sandra Bourdonnec

Sandra Bourdonnec was born in Sainte Foy-la-Grande in 1985 and studied acting at Les Cours Florent | École de théâtre in Paris. In 2013, she started to work as a freelance actress and singer in Germany. With the support of the Filmförderung Baden-Württemberg, she wrote and directed her first feature film Laisse le Vent emporter tout. In 2014 she co-founded The Kino Loop Cell in Berlin, a creative room for underground movie-directors, which organizes the yearly Kino Kabaret. By now, she is regularly acting in German TV and cinema productions, e.g in Es gilt das gesprochene Wort by Ilker Çatak, which was nominated for the Deutsche Filmpreis 2020. In Theater, she worked with Thomas Ostermeier in Italienische Nacht. Since 2019 she is part of the Political Voice Institute and participated in the PVI intervention Community: An App For One Person at Gorki Kiosk in 2020. In 2021 she is part of Górnickas Still Life: The Chorus for Animals, People and all other Lives.
