Peter Kastenmüller

Peter Kastenmüller, born in Munich in 1970, is a director and has been the artistic director of Zurich's Theater Neumarkt since 2013. In 1994, he founded the independent theatre group »Particular Order«. After an engagement as a resident director at Kassel's state theatre, numerous productions followed, including Deportation Cast in Hanover, Das siebente Siegel (The Seventh Seal) in Basel and Wunder des Alltags (Wonders of Everyday Life) in Düsseldorf. At the Freiburg Theatre he worked with Björn Bicker and Michael Graessner on the German-Turkish project CABINET. Boxmüller understands the theatre as a place of encounters and has dedicated the coming season at Theater Neumarkt to lies as a thematic area.
