Paul Stubbs is a UK-born sociologist and activist researcher who has lived and worked in Croatia since 1993. Since 2003, he is a Senior Research Fellow in the Institute of Economics, Zagreb, Croatia. His main research interests include: policy translation; social movements and left-green political platforms; international actors and social policy; and historical research on socialist Yugoslavia in relation to social welfare and the Non-Aligned Movement. He edited the recently published book Socialist Yugoslavia and the Non-Aligned Movement: social, cultural, political and economic imaginaries (McGill-Queen's University Press, 2023). He is currently working on a study of the New International Economic Order.
