Nina Wetzel, *1969, studied stage and costume design at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts et Techniques in Paris. Since 1996 she has been working at Schauspielhaus Hamburg, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Münchner Kammerspiele, Burgtheater Wien, Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz with directors as Christoph Schlingensief, Schorsch Kamerun, Christina Paulhofer, Tom Kühnel, Lars Ole Walburg, Stefan Pucher, Jan-Christoph Gockel, Thomas Ostermeier, Marius von Mayenburg and Mikaël Serre. Moreover she was responsible for the setting of Schlingensief’s container project Bitte liebt Österreich during the Wiener Festwochen and also for Alexander Kluge’s television programme Deutschlandsuche 99.
