Moïra Gilliéron, born in Switzerland in 1989, studied scenography in Zurich and Vienna and was a set design assistant at the Maxim Gorki Theatre from 2013-2015.
The theatres she has worked at include the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Theater Neumarkt, Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf, Schauspielhaus Graz, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Staatstheater Braunschweig, Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Staatsschauspiel Dresden, Kaserne Basel, Ballhaus Ost Berlin, Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, D-Caf Festival in Cairo and Market Theatre in Johannesburg.
Her productions have been presented at the Autorentage Berlin, Radikal Jung, Heidelberger Stückemarkt and Schweizer Theatertreffen festivals. Gilliéron collaborates regularly with Suna Gürler, Nora Abdel-Maksoud, Julia Wissert and Laila Hassan Soliman.
Together with Ariane Koch and Zino Wey, she founded GKW, an independent arts and theatre group.
Moïra Gilliéron is currently based in Berlin and working as a freelance scenographer.
