Born in Munich in 1980, raised in Hanover and was active as a singer and guitarist in various bands. He began his university studies with philosophy and German philology, and continued in performance arts (Szenische Künste) at the University of Hildesheim. In 2008 he completed his studies in acting at the University of Music and Theatre Leipzig, and subsequently appeared at theatres in Hanover, Jena, Düsseldorf, Bielefeld and Bern. He also worked for cinema, radio and television. Since the 2013/14 season he has been part of the ensemble at Cologne’s city theatre (Schauspiel Köln).
