Michael Glucksmann began to play the guitar and learn music at the age of 12. He studied jazz at the Charles E. Smith High School for the Arts and later at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. As a musician in Israel, his style was influenced by both the West and the Middle East, usually by a touch of Latin-American music as well. He moved to Berlin with his band project in 2013 and since then he's worked on numerous music and film projects. Since 2017 Michael has composed and arranged music for and played guitar and bass in the Babylon Orchestra, supported by the Berlin Project Funds “Kulturelle Bildung” (Cultural Education) and the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture. He's also working on his own album and a couple of film soundtracks that are due to be released in 2019.
